The Group Booking Terms & Conditions below are a shortened version of our smartcityhostels (Edinburgh) Ltd (SCHE)Full Group Booking Terms & Conditions of Booking which will be sent you upon request. |

Bookings will only be confirmed on the following basis;
10% deposit when booking 180 days (6 months) in advance
20% deposit when booking 90 days (3 months) in advance
Final balance to be paid 45 days in advance |

All group bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, must be accompanied by full payment. |
| 4. |
The above payment terms must be observed to guarantee your booking, as failure to comply will result in cancellation and any deposits received may be forfeited. |

No refunds will be issued to booking amendments relating to individual members of a group made within 14 days prior to the arrival of the group. |
| 6. |
If the group reduces to below 20 paying persons due to cancellation or non-arrival smartcityhostels shall be entitled to vary the rate and conditions. |

If the booking is cancelled SCHE shall be entitled to retain the deposit paid or if cancellation is made within 45 days of arrival, to make the following cancellation charges:
44 - 29 days: 30% 28 - 15 days: 45% 14 - 1 day: 60 % |
| 8. |
SCHE will always try to accommodate the leaders and drivers of groups separately from the rest of the group. Participants may share a room with participants from other groups. |

Group Leaders must be over 21 years of age. |
| 10. |
Mixed parties of individuals under 18 years of age must have a Leader or a responsible person of each sex aged 21 or over unless agreed otherwise. |

For parties under 18 years of age a ratio of 1 Leader to 10 participants must be observed |
| 12. |
Confirmation of the final number expected guests, with details of male/female, and full rooming list should be provided a minimum of 7 days prior to the arrival date. |

On arrival at the hostel the Group Leader must provide an updated rooming list together with the names and addresses of all group members. Group leaders are responsible for allocating group members to the rooms reserved for the group. |
| 14. |
Method of Payment: - Payment can be made either by UK Sterling Cheque, Euros, Dollars, Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Electron, Delta card or International Bank Transfer. |

International Bank Transfers (IBT's): - Please add a £15:00 GBP supplement to cover bank charges for each International Bank Transfer. Please include your smartcityhostels reference number or the payment may not be credited to your booking. |

UK Sterling cheques:- Please make your cheque payable to smartcityhostels (Edinburgh) Limited. Please write your smartcityhostels reference number on the reverse of the cheque. |
